I had sewn when my daughters were young and then had to stop until I semi-retired in 2006.  It was then that I started to quilt. Most of my quilting were big projects, but every once in a while I would find something for a child I really wanted to do.  My daughters would say what are you making that for. I would tell them that maybe the projects would be theirs one day. When I got the news that I was to become a grandmother in 2016, my focus quickly changed.  I needed to make a quilt for my grandchild. I made a quilt in neutral colours and then soon I was making all the other sheets, etc to match. My love for sewing for a small child took me by surprise. Soon I was making more than you could give one child.  My daughters had been trying to convince me to start a business with all the animal blankets I had made. I finally gave in to their suggestions and here we are today Nana G’s.
